IP Transit Information
Hosting your server with connects you to more networks with fewer hops.
Multiple connections provided by one of the top International Internet Backbones via
Hurricane Electric. This results in lower latency and a quality connection worldwide.

IPv6 is the future and the future is now. We provide concurrent IPv4 and IPv6 over the
same connection at no additional charge, so once you have a connection with us you are
ready to support your customers when they are ready to utilize IPv6.
Key Features and Benefits
  • Port Availability - at all locations globally.
  • BGP - included at no extra charge.
  • IPv6 and IPv4 on the same connection - included at no extra charge.
  • Single AS worldwide - simpler global routing, provisioning, and service.
  • Flexible Billing - Burstable or Flat Rate
  • Rapid Turnaround Capability
  • Ability to grow with you.
WeHostMacs has teamed up with Hurricane Electric
and you benefit from the extensive network.

All core nodes have multiple 10 Gbps (OC-192 / STM-64) connections
Each of our core routers has a combination of backbone circuits, exchange ports, and
private peering connections.

International Network
The backbone has over 2000 BGP sessions with over 700 different networks via 20 major
exchange points and thousands of customer and private peering ports.

Resilient Long Haul Topology
We connect to at least four redundant 10 Gbps paths crossing the US, two separate
paths between the US and Europe, and a 10 Gbps ring in Europe.

Speeds up to 10 Gbps and greater
MacColo can deliver 10GE (10 Gigabit Ethernet) and gige (Gigabit Ethernet) ports at
all core router locations. For speeds in excess of 10 Gbps, MacColo can bond multiple
10GE ports for customers.

Direct DWDM Backbone Circuits
All backbone circuits are run over DWDM wavelengths directly on fiber, not on some
other carrier's MPLS.

IPv6 transit and IPv4 transit on the same customer connection
The network is a dual stack network, so we can deliver wirespeed 10GE IPv6 transit
on the same port as your IPv4 transit.

SONET, SDH, and Leased Line support
OC-48, OC-12, OC-3, (STM-16 STM-4 STM-1) T-3 T-1 ports available. Will you be
using a leased line circuit to reach any of our core router locations? We can terminate
your leased line (fixed line, dedicated line, dark fiber) on our router to provide you a
direct Internet connection.

Copper or Fiber Internet Connections
Get IP Transit via copper 10/100/1000 base T or fiber at 850nm (multimode), 1310nm or
1550nm (single-mode) using your SFP, SFP+, XFP, GBIC, or XENPACK.

Burstable or Flat Rate
Burstable pricing as well as flat rate pricing is available. We can accommodate your rapid
growth or fixed budget.
